Do I have to install the shim kit in order for the module to work?
The shim kit is supplied with 3 light and medium duty part numbers. They are 12000, 20200, & 21100. The shim kit must be installed or the vehicle will not run correctly with the module installed.
Will the shim kit void warranty on truck?
The shim kit will not void any warranties and only has to be done one time. If the module is ever removed, the shim kit can be left installed. It will not create any performance difference on a stock engine.
I have hooked up my module and my truck will not start, what is the problem?
More than likely a connector is plugged in upside down or it is plugged into the wrong location. Check the installation instructions again and if you need further assistance, call Tech Support @ 812-618-9168.
Can I stack this module with other performance products?
We do not recommend stacking our module with any other module or programmer. Each application is different and unique. Please email us for further information on stacking using our CONTACT FORM
Is the fuel mileage on the dash accurate or should I figure at the pump?
We recommend figuring fuel mileage at the pump. The onscreen fuel mileage can sometimes be misleading even in a stock setting.
How much fuel should I save on average?
Normally we will see 10 to 20% increases in fuel economy on top of what you are currently getting now.
What is the best setting to run the module for fuel savings?
We typically recommend running our module in the high setting for the best fuel economy.
I tow a camper/trailer that weighs 16,000 pounds, what setting should I run the module in?
We recommend turning our module down to the medium setting when hauling this much weight.
Will my engine or exhaust temperature rise when installing this product?
Typically we see EGT’s stay the same temperature or decrease slightly.
Do I have to drill a hole in my dash to run the switch?
No, many of our customers with newer trucks will just zip tie the switch to the harness in the engine compartment. If you do not wish to run the switch the module is designed to default in the highest setting. So, if you leave the switch disconnected the module will remain in the high setting all of the time. Keep the switch handy if you ever plan on towing anything over 15000 pounds.
Do I have to use the switch at all?
No, you only need the switch for hauling over 15000 pounds. The module defaults to the high setting when it is not plugged into the module.
When I installed the module, I started my truck and instantly got a check engine light and the engine idles really strange?
What could cause this? One of the connectors could be upside down. Please refer to the instructions for proper installation. If you need further assistance call Tech Support @ 812-618-9168.
If the modules fails on the road what’s the best way to get my truck going again?
Electronic items do sometimes fail, that’s why we offer a lifetime warranty. If your vehicle fails to run or start and you suspect the module is the cause, simply unplug the module and reconnect stock.
Can I bring my truck to your shop for install and/or dyno run?
Yes you can. We are always looking for certain vehicles to test on and to put on our chassis dyno. We can currently dyno RWD and FWD cars and trucks and tandem axle semi trucks. Call or email us for appointments and rates using our QUICK CONTACT FORM or 812-618-9168.

My Map sensor plug for my Powerstroke does not fit, how can I fix this?
There is a connector pin cover that sometimes comes off in the map sensor itself. It is usually white or gray in color. Simply take needle nose pliers and remove the wire cover from the map sensor. It should come out with little resistance. Once it is removed reinstall it back on the Ford factory map sensor connector.
How can I tell if I have a 2004 or 2004 ½ Dodge Cummins?
There will be a sticker on the valve cover of the engine. If the sticker is marked 325HP your engine is a 2004 ½ and newer. If it is marked 305hp then it is 2004 and later.
How can I tell if I have a Ford 2004 ½ or older truck?
On the 2004 ½ Ford 6.0 liter Powerstroke the ICP sensor will be located on the passenger side valve cover towards the radiator. The older 6.0 liter engines the ICP sensor is on the rear of the engine.
What is a Diesel Particulate Filter?
The Particulate Filter, also known as the DPF, is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. Wall-flow diesel particulate filters usually remove 85% or more of the soot, and can at times (heavily loaded condition) attain soot removal efficiencies of close to 100%. A diesel-powered vehicle equipped with functioning filter will emit no visible smoke from its exhaust pipe. Agricultural Diesel Solutions does not delete or bypass any emissions related parts, including DPF filters or EGR systems.
Where do I install my module?
Depending on your application, all modules are installed in your engine compartment away from excessive heat and moving components.
Will my module work on other trucks?
Yes, your module will work on other trucks as long as it falls in the year and make on our application list. Example: 2004 Ford 6.0 module will not work on a 2008 Ford 6.4, however it will work on a 2006 Ford 6.0.
Will installing this module void any warranties?
We recommend when getting service work done on your equipment to simply remove the performance module from your equipment. The only way a manufacturer can tell if our module has been on your equipment is if they visually see it.
Will a Service Tech be able to tell if a module is installed by scanning my ECM or with John Deere/Case Link?
No, the module installs inline between the ECM and either the Fuel Injectors or Fuel Pressure Sensor. The adjustments a module makes are after the ECM signal, therefore nothing is written to the ECM.
Will installing a module damage my engine?
No, Ag Diesel Solutions has a comprehensive field testing and dyno program to insure that any equipment that is on our application list is safe for use without damaging or reducing the life of the engine.
Will a module cause my tractor/combine to throw engine faults?
No, if fault codes are active after a module is installed we recommend to check the connections as well as Power and Ground. If this does not fix the fault codes, please call or email Tech Support and in most cases we can troubleshoot the issues over the phone or by email.
Will installing this power module make my exhaust run hotter than normal?
Typically our modules do not cause exhaust temperatures to rise above the normal operating range.
Can I stack this module with any other performance product?
On agricultural equipment we strongly recommend not stacking our module with any other product.
How much Horsepower will I gain by adding this?
Typically between 10 to 30% on each application. Horsepower varies on each application.
How much fuel will I save?
Generally between 10 to 20% fuel savings.

My module used to give me great power, now the power is gone and I have a fuel flow light on. What can I do to fix this?
Regular maintenance is a must on any product. First thing to check is your fuel filter or filter screen, when is the last time it was changed/cleaned? Also, fuel lines from the tank to the filter housing over time will begin to collapse from the inside of the rubber line. If you feel any soft spots or kinks in the fuel line now would be a good time to replace the line.
My 9.0 John Deere map sensor connector does not fit into the sensor, how do I fix this?
There is a pin cover that sometimes comes off the factory map sensor plug and remains in the map sensor itself. This basket or pin cover is white or light gray in color. Simply take some needle nose pliers and pull the cover out of the map sensor itself. Reinstall the cover on the factory connector and then plug in the module harness.
My RE1000/RE1001 is causing my engine to idle higher, is this normal and will this cause a problem?
This is a common occurrence for this particular module. Normally it means the pump has been rebuilt at one point or another. This issue will not hurt anything and is normal.
I cannot get my JD2800 installed, what is the trick to the injector connector?
This is a very common problem with the injector connector for this module. Tractors are easier because part of the frame rail is not in the way as it is in many combine applications. The trick is to get an extra set of hands if they are available. Make sure when you spin the collar on the connector that you are holding the wires straight and not allowing them to spin with the collar. The Injector plug is marked with a white mark to show you where the collar needs to be orientated when you begin to make the connection.
Where do I install my module?
Depending on your application, all of our modules are installed in your engine compartment away from excessive heat and moving parts.
I do not see my equipment model listed on your application sheet; do you have a module available?
In most cases, you can refer to the engine applications and see if your engine with the correct emissions tier is listed. If you are unsure, then call or email Tech Support. We will most likely ask for any information you can provide relating to the equipment and to provide pictures of the fuel system on the engine.
How much fuel should I be able to save by install this performance module?
Generally we see 10 to 20% increase in fuel savings. The key to saving fuel is once the power module is installed to keep on driving the truck like you used to.
How much horsepower should I gain?
The module comes with 3 settings, 10%, 20%, and 30%, horsepower gain. Generally we see an additional 100 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Will this void any warranties?
Our modules do not leave any fingerprints on your ECM, our modules are installed after the ECM. We do recommend if you take your truck in for warranty work to remove the module.
What should I do if this module fails on the interstate?
Electronic items do fail from time to time. If you suspect the module has caused a truck engine failure, simply disconnect the module and plug in the truck in the stock setting.
